My goodness... my blog has been sooo stagnant this month...

i've been busy with all kinds of presentations, lab reports, voluntary work placement visits, reports again, and other assignments...

Today is the END of my misery.. (well, except for another documentary assignment due on the 9th) so i'm gonna celebrate it by...... spring cleaning my room!! haha =D i know it sounds absurd.. but having a clean a tidy room helps a lot in bringing up a cheerful mood.. since i was so busy before this, i didn't have time to really do it.. have to clear all my papers and books that's around the shelf and table.. they were in a nice pile but not where they're supposed to be..

It's been an interesting week for me.. or month , i should say... lots of new things happening.. seriously.. got quite a lot of shocking news (both bad and good) this month that it almost exceeded my brain limit for more reception.. =S

I'm going back to kemaman tmr and hope that i can have a real rest after all these hectic schedule.. breathe in the fresh air, eat and sleep whenever i want.. ok, not such a good idea.. but most importantly to catch up with my loved ones.. ^^

I wanna spend time with my doggies! miss them sooo much.. >.<

SO yeah.. that's all i wanna do back there.. looking forward...

I Lost My Violin

yeah, my beloved violin which i named her Laurel Grace..

Hilary, Jiamin and I were practicing for our annual ball audition on monday.. finished quite late and i decided to join them for a late dinner too. On our way from Jm's house to hilary's car, we saw two person on a motorcycle slowing down when they reached where we were. Jia min became very suspicious about them but put the feeling aside.

When we reach the stall, for whatever reasons, i decided to leave my violin in the car but put it on the car floor so it won't be visible if someone peered in. We had our dinner for only about 15mins when we walked back to the car parked about 20 steps from the stall.

Jia min realized that there were sparkly glitters on the car seat and asked hilary... after finishing her sentence, JM and I both screamed as we both came to our senses that the sparkly thingy is actually the broken glass window and all our things are gone! including hilary's laptop, handbag, clarinet and also my violin... T_T

Jia min's uncles who happened to be eating at the hawker stall brought us to the police station nearby and not long after that, JM's parents came too.. We lodged a police report but of course there is nothing we could do about it!.... sigh... i really wish i had taken out my violin... why must this happen to me?!

Until now, i still can't get over it. Maybe it will take time.. just like what happened to my camera. but the thing is, i don't know if i still can own another violin like that... sigh sigh sigh....

Learned a really important lesson the hard way and it'll be engraved into my brain forever...

I'm now gonna check instrument shops nearby to see whether the thieves sold them or not.. I'm praying really really hard that i will find it.. >.<

God, if it is thy will.. pls help me find my violin. Amen

Body First session

Yesterday was my last session with my personal trainer- Zul.. Although my muscles were all still sore from thursday, I could do some cardio exercise on the cycling machine, treadmill (with slope), and stairs.. haha =D shocked myself too coz before that i needed thrice the time i usually need to go up a flight of stairs.. but after doing those cardio stuff, my thigh muscles felt quite relief, to my surprise.. lol =D

However, i couldn't do much resistance training for my legs.. ended my last session and i'm ready to move towards my target body shape! haha =D weight doesn't really matter that much, it's the toned up body, higher stamina that i want! hehe =P

well, lets see how i end up in december then.. ^^

Updates for october

Have been very busy lately till i couldn't update my blog.. since i'm a little free today, i'd better write something.. haha =)

Yesterday, Alice, Valerie, Hilary and I went to Shah Alam for the Childline Malaysia induction to fulfill our PSY211 voluntary placement hours.. We left Ampang in Valerie's Hello Kitty car (as how alice puts it^^) earlier so that we would still have time if we got lost.. however, we reached there 45 mins earlier.. and wanted to find food.. but it was an industrial park and we couldn't see any signs of restaurants or mamak stalls..

Since we saw Holiday Inn on our way in, we went back there to find breakfast after finding the Childline building.. At first, we went into their hotel area and found out that their cafe area is only for members.. then we headed to their golf club and had our breakfast there! =D

my guava juice and Valerie's 3 egg omelet with sausages and hash browns.. it was delicious ^^ actually both valerie and I ordered the same thing so we took pictures of our respective juice and omelet set.. hehe =P

Crazy semester

I've been neglecting my blog lately.. sometimes i just don't know what to write about coz i'm just sooo busy these few weeks.. all the assignments, visits to welfare centers, midterms, and church activities are taking away my time to relax and blog about my life.. sigh..

well, i've lots to post up when i'm done with midterms.. actually i can't even make this promise.. i might be busy with MORE assignments and voluntary work. how great if i had a car.. wouldn't waste so much time on the train and bus. can save my extra 1 hour daily..

having a car also means more expenses.. parking, petrol, car installment, maintenance.. oh well, i'll decide next year.

I found the Ikea catalogue which might have been sitting in my mailbox for a long time.. and i suddenly have the urge to go there! it just pleases my eyes whenever i see those pretty and coordinated display corners.. Also, i miss the meatballs from the cafe! =P gotta go there next month.. am out of my budget this month already.. sigh.. 2 more weeks to go.. =P

Fitness First

I've finally joined fitness first after so many years of hesitation!! Am very happy with the services.. well, at least the one beside Help UC.. ^^

Spent my first visit at the one in Menara Maxis beside KLCC.. the staff weren't as smiley but the instructors are great.. =) Valerie and I reached around noon and attended the Pilates class at 1.10pm, only to find that it's actually an intermediate class.. however, the instructor- Jeanie, invited us to join them anyhow, just to get an idea what we need to expect in pilates.. ^^my

I've tried Pilates on my own before, but it was just the basics, so i could still understand the lingo and also the beginning steps before going into the intermediate moves.. hehe =P Jeanie then told me to join her beginner's class to learn more about the basics first..

After pilates, we were curious and decided to try out BODYCOMBAT but planned to sneak out if we don't like it.. but we were stuck inside throughout the whole session coz there was only 4 of us so we didn't wanna get questioned.. haha =D The trainer was really energetic and keep on syok sendiri.. XD in the end, it was still totally rewarding coz it really helped tone up my arms just in one lesson.. happy ^^

Am looking forward to next monday's workout session and saturday's pilates session. =D

Maxis Broadband sucks!

woohoo! i'm finally online! BUT in uni.. sigh..

I'm seriously paying maxis for NOTHING!! i can only access MSN and basic HTML at Gmail.. >.<

The only time when i can blog (which is now), i have to go back home coz linda's waiting for me.. she's coming to my house to study coz she's alone at home.. =S

oh well, I'll bring my lappie to uni tmr to blog more.. =)

Sling Bag Search

I'm searching for a new sling bag to replace my current one which is so worn out that the zipper pullers are gone, outer layer of skin is peeling off, and the colour white had become beige.. poor thing =S

Therefore, i'm looking for something versatile.. can be matched with dresses, pants, shorts or skirts. Also, it needs to be spacious enough for my 2 phones, wallet, some cosmetics/ smaller stuffs, outer pocket for convenience sake, tissue paper, maybe a camera, and preferably fits a mini umbrella too... lol XD *i know u're thinking that i'm crazzzyyy * AND it has to be around RM200.. hopefully below 200.. not too expensive. PLUS, i prefer leather.. >.<

oh well, my current one almost fulfilled my specifications except for the umbrella part.. so u can guess how much i LOVED it.

While window shopping at Isetan today. i saw a few that caught my eyes..

3. Liz Claiborne beige canvas and white PU leather (not real leather, and no outer pocket but cheapest amongst all)

SO, i'm waiting for mom to come and help me decide coz she's the one paying.. hope there'll be some discount then... ^^

oh yeah, i kinda sprained my ankle nerve when i was trying to stretch my legs while standing in the lrt today.. it hurt like mad, seriously.. i really thought something broke and the part that hurt went numb for quite a few minutes..

was waiting in the library today and i picked up French for Dummies and learned a few words like how are u, i'm fine, thank u, good bye etc.. ^o^

one more thing happened today in the morning.. i took my violin to play a song my cousin was gonna sing in a competition and realized that my skills had really deteriorate that i got a shock myself that i couldn't hold the bow properly.. need MORE practice!!! =/

A day with the littlest cousin

I had lotsa fun today... which helped me have some release from the stress of adapting to the independent life i'm forced to face after 2 months of living in comfort..

Our garden girls decided to wear white to uni today! so check out our blog for more pics! ^^ Grace made 6 chocolate chips muffins with our individual icing names on each of them.... it's not only nice to see but nice to eat too! =P









































After class, some of them went for lunch but Jiamin and I went home in the bus.. Mom ( who reached kl this morning with my aunt) was waitin for me at Bangsar Village so i met her there.. For lunch, we went for Delicious again.... >.<

Finally the start of the new semester.

Looks like it's gonna be a busy and stressful road ahead.. Lots of major group assignments, research work, presentations... sigh.. anyway, i just came back from uni and thank God it rained today.. so cooling.. ahh... =D

There's a frenzy for facial masks these days. They're getting cheaper and cheaper too.. am using the “我的美丽日记” yogurt flavour mask now.. reminds me of J.Co Donuts.. *salivating* haha =P

Bought the Shiseido peel-off mask too.. gonna try it soon. ^^

An interesting van came to our campus today. It's the Starbucks "chilling station".. Got myself a tall Mango ice blended juice for RM10.00. Yummy! I was feeling so guilty in the bus the whole way from uni to bangsar lrt. Fortunately there were only like 3 or 4 malays in the bus or else i would've felt worse... =S

Oh yeah, Yen was the lucky 100th customer to buy a drink from the Starbucks van so she got a mini version of Mocha Frapp she was having.. lol XD (of course all of us got a sip of that cute lil thing.. ;P)
